A couple of weeks ago, I posted a 3-minute video
I hastily threw together where Frank Kern talks
about the results he got using just a small piece of
my Profit Compression System.
Basically, it made $49,900 in profits on a quick test
to a small segment of Frank's list - just under 2,000
people. Which means it produced $24.50 profit
per prospect!
The problem is, Frank hates the video. I can't say
that I blame him because I used Skype to record
the video and it makes his face look kind of like a
squashed melon.
So since I'm not going to use the video anymore,

BOB: I'm here with Frank Kern, who's drinking
some nefarious green tree drink, I think. We did
a little joint venture and got some pretty good results,
so I just want you to talk a little bit about what it was
like from your side - how we did it.
FRANK: Well, it was first of all a surprise because I
was just filming a video with you to give some content
to a segment of my list, around 2,000 people, and
wasn't expecting to actually sell anything - wasn't trying
to sell anything. And the next thing you know, you're
calling me up saying, "Hey, dude, you made $24,000,
who do I make the check out to?" So that was pretty
nice. It was probably the easiest money I've ever made.
BOB: Yeah, and that's the part that surprised both of us.
But I had built this little system that I call a Profit
Compression System, and I had tested it with my list and
got great results. But those results could always be
skewed because people know and like me, so I wanted
to test it with some guinea pig - you know, with someone
whose customers didn't like them.
FRANK: Well, mine hate me for good reason. (laughter)
BOB: Just some quick math for everyone. We actually
got another sale since I last talked to you, so it turned
out that our opt-in rate - double opt in to the Aweber
list - was 26%. We converted just under 8% of those
to sales, which came to, like you said, just under
$49,000 ($24,500 each), and we did it over an elapsed
period of eight days.
FRANK: That's crazy.
BOB: Yeah, that's when I showed up with a check for
you. Alright, well very cool. I appreciate you taking the
time to let people know how it worked for you. Oh, the
other thing, too, is it was really under the radar because
there were a couple big launches going on at the same
time, too, and nobody really knew you and I were doing
this. So it also isn't affected by any of the big launches
are doing as well.
FRANK: Absolutely. I didn't even know we were doing
it. We made a video, which was nothing but content, for my
list, and then in the video you said, "Hey, if you want some
more free stuff from me, you can go to this website," which
was an affiliate link for me. I wasn't really expecting anything
to come out of it. Next thing you know - money! The good
part about it is the people who received the content we gave
them really liked the content, so it wasn't perceived as a
disguised pitch or anything. It was a total win-win.
BOB: Yeah, it worked great. Well, thanks. I appreciate
you taking the time to share your side of the story with me.
